The world currently is moving toward modernization. More countries are climbing out of the poverty line and choose to base their economy on industries and modern technology. The society too as expected is being more educated and concerned about their surroundings. However the problem of child labour still happen in the modern days. In your opinion, why is this happening?

In my opinion, I think children are still being widely employed as labours because they are a source of cheap manpower. Companies and factories use them as workers or as labours because they don't have to pay much money. Also, children gives less problem to the company because a child can't defend their rights and they can't demand for more money. Therefore, I think these may be the reasons why child labour still happen in the modern world today.
salam.you are right zulkhairil..but i think povety is the one of reason why child labour is stiil happen in the modern world today.
children who born in the pour family do not have a way to out from this problem..this issue always happen in the developing countries like Bangladesh, India and myammar.
The children must have to work o make sure their life and their family still alive..
